Senior Business Systems Analyst

U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated **Senior Business Systems Analyst** with liaison and relationship management experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.


At times the Senior Business Systems Analyst will support various strategic initiatives, enabling U.S. Bank and the Information Security Services - Governance, Risk and Controls (ISS GRC) team to adhere to policies and industry best practices as part of overall process, risk and control governance.


We are seeking an independent, self-motivated candidate with a proven track record of successful project management, providing business analysis and process documentation services, with an understanding of security controls and the ability to collaborate across organizations to achieve mutual goals. This will be a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to be a leader in financial services information security.


**Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:**


o Work with subject matter experts in a business analysis role to help define and document requirements and processes and governance of process documentation.

o Serve as consultant to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.

o Partner with business stakeholders to identify, refine, and document detailed business needs.

o May manage routine projects.

o Periodically track progress and status via Archer/tGRC platform

o Frequently interface with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work.

**Qualifications:**


**Qualifications**

o Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

o At least 6 years' experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.


The candidate additionally will have or exhibit the following:


o Skilled at communicating technical information to non-technical audiences and stakeholders at every level of the organization

o Strong technical writing skills

o Ability to successfully manage complex projects with numerous stakeholders across the organization

o Ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse teams

o Ability to define and write business requirements and process documentation

o Proficient at handling technical and security related topics

o Careful attention to detail that could ensure audit and regulatory evidence is complete and accurate

o Ability to analyze and articulate implications of compliance requirements


Preferred Skills/Experience

Working experience in:


o IT environment

o Information management

o IT project management


Extensive experience in:


o IT standards, procedures, policy

o Business assessment

o Modeling: data, process, events, objects

o Business process modeling


Subject matter expert in:


o Requirements analysis

o Workflow analysis
