QA Automation Engineer (Bilingual/Spanish)

U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated QA Automation Engineer with proven automation testing and project management experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.


Responsibilities include:


-Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts.

-Approves the Automation Test Plans.

-Serves as subject matter expert on complex automation scripting and tool usage.

-Performs needs analysis of applications and available testing tools.

-Leads the audit, evaluation, and review of products and processes.

-Participates in the quality assurance process following procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements.

-Recognizes and identifies areas where quality assurance policies and procedures need to be changed or developed.

-Conducts project reviews and complex process audits. Assists in major audits/reviews of projects and subcontractors.

-Ensures deliverables meet audit criteria.

-Interfaces with clients to ensure that systems are developed which meet their business need and specifications.

-Evaluates and reviews products and processes.

-Provides status reporting to Quality Assurance and site management.

-Involves senior management, as needed, to resolve deficiencies or compliance issues in a timely manner.

-Communicates and endorses strict adherence to methodologies, processes, and standards.

-Monitors adherence on an on-going basis.

-Works on problem resolutions and reports progress to management.

-Maintains contact with customers, when required, to ensure project quality expectations are understood and met.

-Oversees multiple quality assurance projects which include development, installation, and maintenance.

-Assists in planning and estimation of Quality Assurance support for new programs and projects.

-Schedules and prioritizes work and activities to meet target schedule, quality, scope, and cost objectives.

-Develops, publishes, and implements test plans to ensure quality applications.

-Writes, maintains, and automates software testing.

**Qualifications:**


-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 7 years experience within a total Information Technology (IT) environment.

-At least 5 years experience with designing, planning and execution of system testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality at all stages of the system life cycle.


Preferred Skills/Experience


Working experience in:

-Scrum Agile SDLC

-Leading quality assurance projects

-Advocate for quality of software delivery


Extensive experience in:

-Software Test Automation

-In sprint Test Automation

-Application, system, integration testing methodologies

-System testing tools

-IT quality assurance

-IT standards, procedures, policy

-Hogan and Mainframe Data Conditioning Experience

-Knowledge of end to end testing and Backend Systems

**-Bilingual Spanish testing experience**
